It's frustrating when tracking says "delivered" but your package is nowhere to be found. Here's what to do:
Check These Locations First
Carriers sometimes leave packages in unexpected spots:
- Front porch, back door, or side entrance
- Inside a screen door or behind a pillar
- Mailbox or parcel locker
- Garage or carport
- With a neighbor (carriers occasionally misdeliver)
- Apartment office or leasing center (for apartment residents)
- Building mailroom (for condos/offices)
Ask Household Members
Someone in your home may have brought the package inside without mentioning it.
Wait 24 Hours
Packages are sometimes marked "delivered" shortly before actual delivery. If it was just marked delivered today, check again tomorrow.
Check with Your Local Post Office
Bring your tracking number to your local post office. They can provide details on where the package was scanned and who delivered it.
